Still according to the survey carried out in December 2021 with 2,036 people who have smartphones, when it comes to applications in which Brazilians spend more time throughout the day, WhatsApp also comes out ahead , with 33%. He is followed on Instagram, with 27%, according to the survey. Next is Facebook, with 10%, and YouTube, with 7%. Other social video networks also appear in the ranking, such as TikTok, which made 3%, and Kwai, with 2%. Twitter appears with the same 2%. In this category, the “Other” option accounted for.
The research also looked at the presence of applications on the main screen of smartphones. It is worth noting that the main screen is considered the one that appears immediately after turning on the device. In this sense, WhatsApp was present on 54% of the devices' main screens. The number represents stability when compared to the previous 12 months.
